Visit to Holland

What a great week I have spent.. God has blessed me with a great trip to Holland. I’ve been at a friends wedding (Bart Vermeulen and his wife Eveline), I’ve seen my relatives, friends from college and visited some churches. I was also honoured to preach at a youth event organized by the church of Enschede.

Although tired I’m full of joy for the blessed experience I’ve had in Holland. It was great to see friends and people that I know since I was a little boy. People that have been here in Italy and have supported the ministry that was started here. I’m so thankfull to God for every person that has sowed in so many years, talk and spend time with them has reminded me the faithfulness of God in all the past years. For sure His plans are perfect in every way!

I’m glad I could also rest a bit and have a coupple of days to enjoy the beauties of Holland.

Hope to be back there soon!

Tot ziens allemal :)

Back with some news..

Hi everyone. Sorry for not keeping this blog updated. It’s hard to be constant in writing something and giving news about millions of different things happening in my life and here in Modugno. I’ll try to do my best in the coming months.

God is good and He is revealing His love and grace costantly in my life and in our ministry. We are about to make big changes, and God is reminding the plans He has for our church and the different ministries e has given us.

In this month I’m very busy with the work of GenerazioneScelta. We had a couple of youth meetings. The first one the 13th of September at “il rifugio” centre and the second one the 4th of October in Taranto (a city in the south of Puglia). The goal was to unite the youth of different church and spend together time in prayer and worship and encourage them to pray for the project and vision of GenerazioneScelta. We also had fun time together (with good italian pizza), we also presented the Kenya mission trip organized by the team of mission i6:8.

Please pray that God will unite us more and more and give us more chance to work together for His kingdom. The Italian Church needs unity and we are believing for that and working to see this happen.

God bless you..

Weddings celebration

This summer our church is celebrating four weddings. We never had so many people getting married the same year. It is a great oppurtunity that God gives us to share the gospel and Glorify Him. This coupples are special people and are active memebers of our church.

Franco and Annalisa (first coupple married) asked me to preach at their wedding and it was a blessing for me to be involved. I was blessed by the attention of all the relatives and friends that were there (about 200 people) and I’m praying that the words God gave me that day, will work in the hearts of those people.

It was a challege for me, as a single guy, to prepare a message for a wedding celebration but God is faithful!

So now we have three more. In the next wedding my brother Gianluca will preach and I’m very excited for what God is going to do in people’s heart. Please pray for this oppurtunities.

Talking about my brother today I added the widget “LINKS” (here on the right —->)

if you click on “Gianluca & Carli” you will be able to visit my brother’s webpage. Go have a look it’s in English.

Baptism month..

It is an exciting time in church this month. God is doing amazing miracles. About 13 people are being baptized (about 2 on every service). It is such a blessing to hear their testimony and have the chance to have a great impact on all the new people (friends and family) brought in church for this special event. It is a big deal for people to see adults being baptized, Italians are only used to see catholic baptism (which is done to little babies with few drops of water on their head). It is great to shock people with the truth of the gospel.. :D

I’ve been very active last Sunday, playing drums, baptizing and also giving the salvation message at the end of the service. About 18 people accepted the Lord in the two services of last Sunday. GOD IS GOOD!

Here I got a nice picture presentation.. Hope you enjoy it!

My blog continues in English!

That’s right! I finally translated my blog pages for all my English speaking friends. I’m excited to keep all of you uploaded with the many things I’m believing, dreaming and working on. :D

Sorry for my English, it is not perfect but hopefully good enough to write some posts now and then. Feel free to correct me any time.. :D

As many of you know, I came back in Italy last December after one intense year of college at the Hillsong Church in Australia. I still miss that awesome student life in such a great environment with the best friends ever. I’m glad to be back though, and put in practise so many things God has taught me there.

In this five months back in Italy God has already done great things in me and through me. God is faithful and even though sometimes things don’t go exactly as you would expect them to go, I feel that this is the place where God has called me to be and where He wants me to serve.

Well, that’s it for now.. I’m gonna upload the blog and see how it works.

I’ll write back soon. Be blessed
