Hey there. Welcome to my blog, good to have you here!
My name is Mirko and I’m 27 years old. I was born and raised up in Italy, in a little industrial town called Modugno.

My mum is a Dutch missionary; she came in Italy more than thirty years ago with a church-planting mission. My dad met the Lord through this team of missionaries and some years later met my beautiful mum. To make a long story very short, God called my parents to take a very small group of people and plant a church here in Modugno. Since then the church has grown and is impacting more and more people in Modugno but also in many of the sorrounding cities. I have so many things to say about my church and the work that we do here in Modugno and hopefully, through this blog, I will be able to keep you uploaded with some of the things we do. So keep tuned!

Going back to my story. I decided to take seriously God in my life in year 2000, from then on, a clear direction was given me from God. I was called to bring a change, reach out to my generation challinging myself and my peers to be on fire, 100% committed to God.
From that special year on, I’ve started serving God and church. I became youth pastor (we named the youth ministry “upsidedown“) and started with some other guys the “GenerazioneScelta” (chosen generation) ministry, which aims to unite young people from different churches. This ministry uses events and programs that encourage young people to follow Jesus and be active in their local churches and also in missions and evangelism.
God has done amazing things so far and I feel honoured averwealmed, and so unworthy of all this blessings and success.
I have many challenges ahead of me and this I beleive is a new season for my ministry and for the things God has helped us build so far.

Last year God gave me the opportunity to attend the International Leadership College at the Hillsong Church in Sydney Australia. During my time there, God placed in my heart so many other dreams and goals for my future and for the future of my church and work we are doing here in south Italy. I’m excited to see what God will do next.

At the moment Europe is one of the biggest missionary field. Italy is in thick darkness and religion is not helping people to find a true relationship with Jesus Christ. But great times are ahead of us. I beleive God is about to bring revival and show us His many miracles. Please pray for us and keep yourself uploaded through this blog. I’m so glad I can keep many people uploaded with such a tool as this.
